The Refugee and Migrant Communities Network has been delighted to welcome many students from several Universities to do a Semester of student placement.
During this time the students are invited to become integrated into the daily life of our Organisation.
As well as preparing their own assignments which may involve a critique of how the Organisation functions, they are encouraged to work alongside the Centre's Volunteers to participate in guiding many of those who come to the Office for asistance.
Students also involve themselves in the Seniors programs - the weekly visits to the Werribee Community Garden, the Senior-cise program, or other activities, such as visits to other nearby places which may help to enrich the lives of the Seniors, providing them with enjoyment and Social interaction.
